Hi, I’m Liz, a Positive Psychologist and Certified ADHD Coach, and Public Speaker, specializing in ADHD support, stress management, time management, focus, and academic and career development. My work also extends to helping individuals navigate significant life transitions such as exam stress, divorce, habit change, and addiction recovery, often using techniques from acceptance and commitment therapy to enhance mental health support.
I hold an MSc in Positive Psychology and Well-Being (Distinction) from Liverpool John Moores University, a Certified ADHD Coaching qualification, an MA in Journalism, and a Teaching Diploma. This unique blend of qualifications allows me to bring both academic expertise and real-world communication skills into my work with clients, schools, and organizations, incorporating character strength interventions to foster resilience.
For the past ten years, I have been an active member of the Soberistas community, an international online support network for ‘grey area’ drinkers. In this space, I share evidence-based strategies and lived experience through blogs, podcast appearances, and community support, often focusing on solution-focused therapy approaches.
I co-host the RISE podcast, where I interview experts and share practical tools for resilience, well-being, and personal growth. In addition, I am a regular contributor to Liverpool Live Radio, where I host a weekly segment called ‘Feel Good Friday’, delivering actionable positive psychology insights and inspirational stories to help listeners boost their mental health and resilience.
