    Which is where my role comes in. As a Positive Psychologist and Well-Being Coach, I believe in guiding my clients towards discovering their own inner strength, resilience, and wisdom. I know from both professional expertise and lived experience, including navigating ADHD, 'grey area' drinking dependency, and the sense of stuck-ness many of us face today, that everyone has the ability to create a fulfilling and meaningful life. Sometimes you just need the right tools, a fresh perspective, and someone who’s been there to help you unlock it.


    That’s why I created my RISE Resilience Programmes for schools and workplaces back in 2022. Since then, I’ve expanded my work to include specialist ADHD training and coaching, blending neuroscience, Positive Psychology, and practical strategies that help people shift from overwhelm to clarity.


    At the core of everything we do at RISE Resilience is our unique ‘3B Equation’ system:

    This simple, yet powerful, equation is the bedrock of all our work and you’ll find it running through every coaching session, training programme, workplace workshop, school intervention, public talk, broadcast, and blog.

    • T: Tenacity: Develop grit and coping strategies that keep you moving forward under pressure.
       
    • R : Regulation (Emotional): Learn how to calm the nervous system, manage emotions, and reduce stress.
       
    • O : Observation (Attention & Focus): Train your attention, sharpen focus, and develop mindful awareness to cut through distraction.
       
    • N:  Network: Strengthen relationships and support systems, because resilience is amplified through connection.
       
    • G: Goals & Habits: Set meaningful goals and embed daily habits that turn growth into lasting change.

    My Qualifications

    As a former educator of  thirty years with an MSc in Positive Psychology,  I have completed extensive training in areas such as psychology, goal setting, and communication and solution focused coaching. I am also committed to helping my clients, whether they are  individuals, teams or groups of students, to not only survive but to thrive. 

    I currently deliver my RISE resilience programme to colleges and schools across the UK and collaborate with organisations such as Access CBT,  The Women's Organisation and The Girls' Network.

    I take a collaborative and solution-focused approach to positive psychology coaching; looking at what is strong as opposed to what is wrong in each individual by harnessing the power of character strengths intervention work. By working together, we can identify your signature strengths, overcome obstacles, and create a plan of action to help you achieve your goals. In other words we will unleash your inner SUPERPOWER!

    My Specialities

    I specialise in helping clients with stress management, time management, and academic and career development. I also offer support to those going through major life transitions such as facing into  examination stress;  divorce; habit change and addiction and PTSD.

    I have been an active member of the Soberista community, an online support network for 'grey area' drinkers, for ten years and regularly share my expertise through blogging and appearances on their podcast along with co hosting my own podcast called RISE.
